5th June 2007 Windsurfing: Felixstowe Wind Direction: NNE Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: 16 Sea Temperature: 13 Weather: sunny Max Speed: 24 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 10.1 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) went out with 8.5 set full and just about planed a few times then wallowed for ~15 minutes when the little wind there was dropped. I changed into clothes then blow me the wind came back, so I put my cold, wet wetsuit back on and enjoyed half an hour well powered up, and overpowered at times. Instead of working then going home it\'s really nice to sail int eh evening and it seems such a bonus. I'm surprised more don't try it as this time of year it's easy to get at least an hour on the water. Best 100m speed was 23.6knots, 500meters 21.5knots |
